Every paintball is unique

bore sizing is key

Because there is more to paint-barrel match than just a basic "fit."

FREAK® offers more bore sizes, bore lengths and bore materials than any other barrel system.

Customizing how paint fits your barrel will change the shot & let you adapt to playing conditions and paintball quality.

more choices

The best insert is no good if you did not bring it to the field. Grab a FREAK® BOREMASTER and bring ALL your inserts along.

The BOREMASTER kit from FREAK® gives you 8 bore sizes to match the majority of paintballs on the market.

With this many choices - close enough, never has to be good enough.

BALL IS COMPRESSED

TIGHT

Too much of a good thing can hurt performance.

Compression on the ball is not desired and may result in ball breakage, velocity or efficiency loss.

light contact all points

CORRECT

Correct fit occurs when the widest point of paint catches in the bore, the rest of ball makes light contact.

With good paint and conditions - correct fit gives the best accuracy, efficiency and sound.

MINIMAL CONTACT

SLIGHTLY LOOSE

Slightly over-bore if paint might expand during play, for example, during hot or humid conditions.

EXTREMELY brittle paint can also benifit from a looser bore match - to prevent barrel breaks.

NO CONTACT

LOOSE

Low quality paint or extreme conditions may require a loose fit to minimize friction. This will minimize breakage, but decrease efficiency.
